This is all mitigated with RADV_DEBUG=hang, but that makes the performance terrible * Time Spy (DX12), Wild Life (Vulkan) and Night Raid (DX12) fails with "An error occurred." message.Īlso, the main UI looks and feels rather laggy at times.Ģ3.1-git hangs when you reach the part with the time portal and there's also some graphical glitches on my RX 6800 * Speed Way (DX12 Ultimate) and Port Royal (ray tracing) reports unsupported. That's my complete command line: gamemoderun PROTON_USE_VKD3D=1 %command% (with logging: gamemoderun PROTON_LOG=1 PROTON_USE_VKD3D=1 %command%) When I add the PROTON_LOG=1 env to the VKD3D the 3DMark starts but freezes then (Window title "."). I also added PROTON_USE_VKD3D=1 but it doesn't work.
#3d mark windows
I switched Windows version to 10 via Protontricks but no effect. 3DMark doesn't recognize the Systeminfo Tool (it runs over Java). that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.ģDMark isn't able to fetch my whole system/hardware infos and can't run DX12 or Raytracing tests.that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.

Can also go into Nvidia control panel and turn all the eyecandy off, verify that Gsync/vsync is off (this will kill 3D Mark score, forgot to mention that earlier) and set power management to maximum performance and texture quality to high performance. RDR2 may be a little more unstable with OC of the may wanna verify that his XMP is working ok though, XMP can be a bit meh. ROTTR and Red Dead 2, if you're stable in those games I doubt you crash in anything else. Haha I just crossed my fingers and bit my teeth together praying that the run would be over before my memory imploded xD. I'm not gonna benchmark this card anymore, last time I did the artifacts was going crazy due to my mem OC. The better scores had CPU scores through the roof though so that probably wasn't air cooled hehe. I was 8th or 6th on the leaderboard for my CPU and GPU pairing in Time Spy. Or maybe it's still just that Kaineįor lower end hardware like mine, it is not much of an issue. Benchmarks is mostly epeen measuring, I agree unless you just enjoy being at the races I guess. The best way to test ones hardware is to do the tasks your hardware is supposed to do and see if it performs adequately.

#3d mark Patch
Yeah definitley, in regards to cooling that is also an option which you wont necessarrily see when you look at the score board unless the user stated something like "ln2" or "dry ice" cooling or whatever in the comments.Įverytime there is a patch to the benchmark used in this case Fire Strike tests must be redone due to changes in the software if comparison is even supposed to be fairly relevant. (its about a year old, but generally the scores seem to check out) ***they also recently changed their scoring system i think so that may also play a role, not sure im not super into this stuff, because overall its rather pointless epeen measuring*** but shouldn't a 12th gen p little have a bit more oomph than a 3600 at least? Could indeed be early adaptors mobo shenanigans.

overall they may be "slightly" low, i mainly looked at gpu scores. The thing is ops score is perfectly normal. theres a bunch of tricks and "optimizations" that can be done, also ln2 cooling etc, which is not necessarily visible in the results. I was top in the scoreboard on graphics score for my GPU/CPU combo and I would never (or could ever) game on those settings I used so it's not relevant for anything else than just a scoreboard. So other benchmarks may be overclocked, optimized or even silicon lottery plays a part. The last time I ran it I had my VRAM clocked so high the artifacts looked like they would implode my screen and I was just biting my teeth trying to beat my previous score.
#3d mark Pc
I use various methods of optimizing my PC if I wanna do a 3D Mark run.
